ERRCS Compliance Checklist

Ensure your building meets ERRCS requirements under 2022 San Francisco Fire Code Sections 510.1.1, 510.6.1.1, 510.6.1.2, SFFD AB #2.01 Addendum G, and 2022 NFPA 1225 compliance standards.

Check if your building is compliant:

The building is a NEW HIGH-RISE (75 ft+ above fire department access) → ERRCS must be installed

The building is an EXISTING HIGH-RISE with ERRCS installed → Certification required by June 1

The building is an EXISTING NON–HIGH-RISE with ERRCS installed → Certification required by September 1

The building is undergoing an occupancy change (non–high-rise changing use/type) → Radio coverage test required

Your ERRCS was installed by a licensed ERRCS contractor
